Fabrico implementation with call buttons for ABB

Fabrico CMMS is a solution of choice for multiple ABB plants across Europe. For one of the plants in Petrich, Bulgaria our team made an innovative implementation which gives the technical team easy and quick notification process with call buttons.
 

The plant produces electrical components with a team of 400+ employees. The team needed a digital solution for maintenance management to supplement SAP as their core ERP system. Fabrico was already an approved solution in other ABB plants, where by reference, the team of ABB Petrich, Bulgaria, contacted us with request for test and further implementation. 

The management had specific request - to introduce simple call buttons to ease the work of operators and other work order requesters. The plant had already tested a system of buttons of a provider of IoT technologies, we also tested the system and approved it for implementation. 

Fabrico CMMS successfully integrated with existing button system, designed to simplify the calls for technicians on specific machine or location. Buttons were installed on or in close proximity to every machine and each button was related to each machine in the system. Thus, with a simple click on the button creates a work order in Fabrico CMMS and the technical team receives a notification with specific category and indication “Call from operator” or “Urgent Call from operator”. 

After more than an year of usage the team is achieving significant positive results with swift response rate and a 100+ tasks per day successfully completed
